Drone classes for kids in Jersey City
Many kids already own a small drone. It usually crashes in a week, and nobody knows why. In our drone classes, kids find out: they build the drone, wire it, tune it and then fly it through missions.
When something breaks, and it will, they learn to fix it. That is the part parents tell us they love most.

UAS 101 Drone Dynamics
No experience needed. Students learn motors, propellers, batteries and flight controllers, build a drone and fly scored missions. They leave with a drone they built and a mission scorecard.
Older teens: Part 107 prep
UAS 201 Remote Pilot Certificate Prep prepares students for the FAA Remote Pilot exam with a mission portfolio and a study plan. Certificate eligibility starts at 16; the FAA examines and certifies.
Younger kids
Ages 6 to 8 fly small indoor drones in the Discovery Lab, alongside simulator time and first builds. It is the gentle first step before UAS 101.

Do we need to buy a drone?
No. All equipment is provided in class.
Is it safe indoors?
Yes. Drones fly in a netted area with prop guards and a coach present.
