Robotics classes for kids in Jersey City
Robotics sounds impressive, but a lot of programs are really just snapping kits together. Here, kids learn why the robot works: the circuit, the part design, the wiring. Then they build one that competes.
It is hands-on from the first class. Soldering iron, multimeter, CAD software, 3D printer.

Start with the foundations
ENG 100 Intro to Robotics & Coding teaches kids to build robots and code them, from blocks to Python, completing missions. ENG 101 Combat Robotics I has your child design, wire and build their own 1 lb robot.
Then build a tougher robot
After ENG 101, ENG 201 Combat Robotics II steps up to a tougher 3 lb robot built to compete in outside competitions. ENG 301 Advanced Combat Robotics follows, with a team building and competing with 12 and 30 lb robots.
Why parents choose it
It teaches patience and problem solving. When the robot does not move, there is no reset button: your kid has to find the loose wire.
