Pickup & Safety Policy
Last updated October 8, 2026
We are responsible for your child from the start to the end of class. These rules make drop-off and pickup safe and predictable.
Drop-off
Please walk minors in and sign them in with the instructor. We are not responsible for students before class starts or for students who leave the building before being signed in.
Authorized pickup
Students under 18 are released only to a parent, guardian or adult listed as an authorized pickup person on the registration form. Staff may ask for photo ID.
To add someone for one day, email us before class from the address used to register. We do not accept pickup changes made by the student.
Students may leave alone only if a parent has given us written permission.
Late pickup
If you are running late, please call or text us. If we cannot reach a parent or any emergency contact within a reasonable time after class, we may contact local authorities as a last resort, as required for the child's safety.
Health and illness
Please keep students home if they have a fever or a contagious illness. Share any allergies, medications or medical conditions on the registration form and update us if they change.
Emergencies
In a medical emergency, staff give basic first aid, call 911 and contact parents, as described in the Liability Waiver. If a class must be cancelled for weather or an emergency, we notify families by email and phone as early as possible.
Child protection
Staff and instructors follow New Jersey law and must report any suspected abuse or neglect to the Division of Child Protection and Permanency. Staff do not communicate privately with minors outside class channels approved by parents.
