Robotics classes for kids near Hoboken

Hoboken parents usually call us after their child has outgrown a screen-based coding club. Our robotics classes go the other way: the laptop is a tool, and the result is a machine sitting on the bench that either drives or does not.

Hoboken families tell us the same thing: plenty of sports, plenty of art, very little that lets a kid hold a soldering iron.

    Coming from Hoboken

Because we are only about two miles away, most Hoboken families come straight after school and are home before dinner. Several siblings train in the same slot, which keeps one trip instead of two.

Classes run 90 minutes: a short briefing, hands-on time at the bench or the simulator, then a debrief where every student explains what they did and what broke. Groups stay small enough for a coach to sit next to your child.

    Where a Hoboken student starts

Younger builders from Hoboken usually begin with electronics, because wiring a working circuit is the fastest way to see cause and effect. From there they move into CAD and 3D printing, and from age 12 into combat robots, where a build has to survive being hit. Nothing is theoretical: if the robot does not drive, the class finds out why.

Coaches work in aviation and engineering, the equipment stays in the workshop, and every student leaves the term with something real: a build, a tracked skill record and a clear next step. If you are unsure which course fits, book the trial class and we will place your child in the right group on the day.
