STEM classes for kids near Manhattan
Our Jersey City classroom puts a Cessna 172 flight simulator, drones, CAD and electronics in one place. For Manhattan kids it is a hands-on counterweight to a very screen-heavy week.
A visit to the Intrepid Museum on Manhattan's West Side can spark a fascination with aircraft. Across the Hudson, our Jersey City workshop turns that curiosity into a build a child can test, repair and explain.

Coming from Manhattan
Manhattan's skyline becomes a different kind of reference point in the simulator: students practise heading, altitude and navigation rather than just looking out at the city. Before committing from the Upper West Side, Chelsea or Lower Manhattan, use the trial to test both the course and your door-to-door journey.
Classes run 90 minutes: a short briefing, hands-on time at the bench or the simulator, then a debrief where every student explains what they did and what broke. Groups stay small enough for a coach to sit next to your child.

Course detailsWhere a Manhattan student starts
Ages 6 to 8 from Manhattan start in the Discovery Lab. From 9, students choose the Flight, Aerospace or Robotics track and move through levels 100, 200 and 300, grouped by age and experience. Advanced courses include Part 107 exam prep (eligibility at 16+) and Private Pilot preparation with partner flight schools.
Coaches work in aviation and engineering, the equipment stays in the workshop, and every student leaves the term with something real: a build, a tracked skill record and a clear next step. If you are unsure which course fits, book the trial class and we will place your child in the right group on the day.
