Robotics classes for kids near Manhattan
Manhattan parents often find us after a museum visit sparks something. Our robotics classes turn that spark into bench work: wiring, motors, sensors and a robot that has to complete a task in front of the group.
A visit to the Intrepid Museum on Manhattan's West Side can spark a fascination with aircraft. Across the Hudson, our Jersey City workshop turns that curiosity into a build a child can test, repair and explain.

Coming from Manhattan
For families in Tribeca and Battery Park City, World Trade Center is a useful PATH starting point; Chelsea and Midtown families can use the Sixth Avenue stations. The workshop is not at the waterfront terminal: plan the onward trip into Jersey City Heights before choosing a class slot.
Classes run 90 minutes: a short briefing, hands-on time at the bench or the simulator, then a debrief where every student explains what they did and what broke. Groups stay small enough for a coach to sit next to your child.

Course detailsWhere a Manhattan student starts
Builders from Manhattan start at level 100: ENG 100 if they want to code a robot, ENG 101 if they want to build one for competition. From there they move up to level 200 and 300 combat robotics, grouped by age and experience. Nothing is theoretical: if the robot does not drive, the class finds out why.
Coaches work in aviation and engineering, the equipment stays in the workshop, and every student leaves the term with something real: a build, a tracked skill record and a clear next step. If you are unsure which course fits, book the trial class and we will place your child in the right group on the day.
