Robotics classes for kids near Hackensack

Hackensack kids who watch jets over Teterboro can learn what makes machines move. Our robotics classes cover motors, control and code, ending with a robot that has to do its job on the floor.

Hackensack is minutes from Teterboro Airport, so local kids see jets every day without knowing how they are flown or built.

    Coming from Hackensack

Most Hackensack families choose a Saturday slot, which avoids weekday traffic on the way down to Jersey City.

Classes run 90 minutes: a short briefing, hands-on time at the bench or the simulator, then a debrief where every student explains what they did and what broke. Groups stay small enough for a coach to sit next to your child.

    Where a Hackensack student starts

Builders from Hackensack start at level 100: ENG 100 if they want to code a robot, ENG 101 if they want to build one for competition. From there they move up to level 200 and 300 combat robotics, grouped by age and experience. Nothing is theoretical: if the robot does not drive, the class finds out why.

Coaches work in aviation and engineering, the equipment stays in the workshop, and every student leaves the term with something real: a build, a tracked skill record and a clear next step. If you are unsure which course fits, book the trial class and we will place your child in the right group on the day.
