Robotics classes for kids near Montclair

Montclair parents tell us their kids have done coding clubs and want something more physical. Our robotics classes are built around machines that move, break and get fixed again on the bench.

Montclair families invest heavily in enrichment, but hands-on aerospace engineering is rarely on the list of options nearby.

    Coming from Montclair

Montclair families often combine a weekday slot with carpools between neighbors, and siblings can train in the same time window.

Classes run 90 minutes: a short briefing, hands-on time at the bench or the simulator, then a debrief where every student explains what they did and what broke. Groups stay small enough for a coach to sit next to your child.

    Where a Montclair student starts

Builders from Montclair start at level 100: ENG 100 if they want to code a robot, ENG 101 if they want to build one for competition. From there they move up to level 200 and 300 combat robotics, grouped by age and experience. Nothing is theoretical: if the robot does not drive, the class finds out why.

Coaches work in aviation and engineering, the equipment stays in the workshop, and every student leaves the term with something real: a build, a tracked skill record and a clear next step. If you are unsure which course fits, book the trial class and we will place your child in the right group on the day.
