Robotics classes for kids near Queens
Queens kids who love watching planes often also love taking things apart. Our robotics classes give them a structured place to do it: they design, wire and program machines that have to work in front of the group.
LaGuardia and JFK make aviation part of everyday life in Queens, while the New York Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park gives children a place to ask how things work. Our workshop takes the next step: build, test and practise at the controls.

Coming from Queens
A journey from Long Island City or Astoria is not the same as one from Flushing or Jamaica. Plan both river crossings, or a subway connection into Manhattan followed by PATH and the final local leg. A trial lets you check whether that trip fits your family's week before selecting a regular slot.
Classes run 90 minutes: a short briefing, hands-on time at the bench or the simulator, then a debrief where every student explains what they did and what broke. Groups stay small enough for a coach to sit next to your child.

Course detailsWhere a Queens student starts
Builders from Queens start at level 100: ENG 100 if they want to code a robot, ENG 101 if they want to build one for competition. From there they move up to level 200 and 300 combat robotics, grouped by age and experience. Nothing is theoretical: if the robot does not drive, the class finds out why.
Coaches work in aviation and engineering, the equipment stays in the workshop, and every student leaves the term with something real: a build, a tracked skill record and a clear next step. If you are unsure which course fits, book the trial class and we will place your child in the right group on the day.
